I recently had the pleasure of working on a marketing plan to usher Blend Images into the realm of inbound online marketing while launching their new website. This project touched on a number of key initiatives that would translate to any medium sized business that is transitioning to a bigger online e-commerce presence. This process solidified the brand voice and minimum viable personality and value proposition for Blend Images, identified the major clients and methodically mapped out the marketing strategies and brand presence of Blend’s major competitors.
Driven by research, I was able to develop our overarching departmental goals for selling directly to clients and put in place the KPIs that would be tracked through the process. The resulting plan is comprehensive and touches on all aspects from UI, UX, SEO, Paid Search, Retargeting Campaigns, Blog Integrations, Content Marketing, Social Media Campaigns and Strategy, Email Newsletters, to CRM and Marketing Platform Implementation. Focus was also directed to segmenting existing contacts to leverage our reach to past purchasers who would be higher qualified leads. This plan is in the first phases of the launch but is truly impressive for generating unique site visitors and online presence with a small staff. This marketing strategy could be applied to many businesses with only a few team members but a need to grow the business and an understanding that inbound digital marketing can make a big impact.
