Jasmine Hartsook- Designer and Artist

Hello. I’m Jasmine Hartsook. I’m a multidisciplinary designer and artist living in Seattle. With over 20 years of experience in the creative industry, I have worked both independently and at photography and design agencies, start-ups, and given talks at conferences and institutions worldwide. Previously, I was the VP of Marketing and Operations for Blend Images. I led marketing and ops teams to break ground in commercial advertising, celebrating diversity, and championing representation in the media. In 2018 I founded as a design studio to collaborate with clients, bring their ideas to the surface, and give them visual life.

I grew up moving around with my family all over the US and Japan. I studied graphic design and photography at the Savannah College of Art & Design before making my way to the west coast. My work has been featured in various exhibitions, design blogs, and print publications.

I have a deep love for color, creativity, and I find joy and wonder in design thinking. My inspirations are rooted in a love for traditional print design and a passion for typography. When those sensibilities push through pixels and digitally light up, I get equally excited. I adore experimenting with color, texture, shapes, and forms. I live for the contrast between a simple, minimal, perfectly balanced composition and a brilliantly bizarre take that colors outside all lines. I am always looking for new projects. If you have an arts-based project in mind, let’s connect. Write me at for work inquiries or just to say hello.
